antonyms definition and examples

Graded antonyms are pairs of words with opposite meanings which are on a continuous spectrum. Some examples of graded antonyms are hard and soft, best and worst, wet and dry. Complementary antonyms are contradictory, something is either one or the other without any degree of differentness.

antonyms definition and examples - Graded antonyms are pairs of words with opposite meanings which are on a continuous spectrum

Some examples of complementary antonyms are push and pull, on and off, in and out. The third category of antonyms is relational antonyms, which are word pairs in which there is context between the two words. Both of these words must exist in order for them to be considered the opposite of something.

antonyms definition and examples - Some examples of graded antonyms are hard and soft

Some examples of relational antonyms are husband and wife, teacher and student, predator and prey. An antonym is one of a pair of words with opposite meanings. Each word in the pair is the antithesis of the other.

antonyms definition and examples - Complementary antonyms are contradictory

There are three categories of antonyms identified by the nature of the relationship between the opposed meanings. Where the two words have definitions that lie on a continuous spectrum of meaning, they are gradable antonyms. Where the meanings do not lie on a continuous spectrum and the words have no other lexical relationship, they are complementary antonyms. Where the two meanings are opposite only within the context of their relationship, they are relational antonyms. Negation is an elemental factor in our language, and there is a variety of expressions that can convey negative meanings.

antonyms definition and examples - Some examples of complementary antonyms are push and pull

Classifying concepts related to negation will help us understand the ways in which it is used, and will reveal one of the bases of our cognition. One of the most prominent functions of negation is its appearance as a direct negative marker, such as "not" or "no", in order to deny an object or actions. Simultaneously, we can also observe several "negative meanings" in various aspects of speech. In this paper, I will focus on the "negative meanings".

antonyms definition and examples - The third category of antonyms is relational antonyms

A number of the usages are reflections of our perceptions of our world and environment. Antonyms and synonyms are two classical linguistic categories, and their concepts are closely related to negation. However, thus far, their characteristics have not been adequately investigated from the perspective of negation. This paper investigates the negative meaning expressed by antonyms and synonyms. The study of antonyms (or 'opposites') in a language can provide important insight into word meaning and discourse structures.

antonyms definition and examples - Both of these words must exist in order for them to be considered the opposite of something

This book provides an extensive investigation of antonyms in English and offers an innovative model of how we mentally organize concepts and how we perceive contrasts between them. The authors use corpus and experimental methods to build a theoretical picture of the antonym relation, its status in the mind and its construal in context. Evidence is drawn from natural antonym use in speech and writing, first-language antonym acquisition, and controlled elicitation and judgements of antonym pairs by native speakers.

antonyms definition and examples - Some examples of relational antonyms are husband and wife

The book also proposes ways in which a greater knowledge of how antonyms work can be applied to the fields of language technology and lexicography. In this paper, I investigated the cognitive orientation of the negative meaning in antonyms and synonyms. I primarily focused on indirect negative sentences, which do not have direct negative markers such as "not" or "no". We can observe indirect negatives, meaning the polar-opposition type antonyms. We can also notice positive/negative images in synonymous words. The term antonym is commonly taken to be synonymous with opposite, but antonym also has other more restricted meanings.

antonyms definition and examples - An antonym is one of a pair of words with opposite meanings

Graded antonyms are word pairs whose meanings are opposite and which lie on a continuous spectrum . Complementary antonyms are word pairs whose meanings are opposite but whose meanings do not lie on a continuous spectrum . Relational antonyms are word pairs where opposite makes sense only in the context of the relationship between the two meanings . The "Near-Far" pair presents examples of indirect negatives, and their meaning appears to be originally derived from a metaphorical mapping from the experience of spatial cognition. The indirect negative meaning of the language can be observed in the domains of DIFFERENCE with regard to FAR.

antonyms definition and examples - Each word in the pair is the antithesis of the other

The sentences in the domains of DIFFERENCE with regard to FAR can be paraphrased into direct negative sentences. Context clues can also help when a word has more than one meaning. Some simple examples are "bank," "live," and "rose." Context clues allow us to choose the specific meaning the author intended for that word, at that time. If you're reading about a bear racing through the woods, for example, and he climbs a bank, context clues tell you it's a mound of dirt, not a place where people keep their money. While your dictionary or thesaurus may list a pair of words as antonyms, there's a chance they really aren't diametric opposites.

antonyms definition and examples - There are three categories of antonyms identified by the nature of the relationship between the opposed meanings

Before you drop a word in as an antonym, look beyond the first definition and think about precisely what you want to convey. Watch out for these 70 words and phrases that you're probably using all wrong. I tried to reconstruct antonyms and synonyms in the field of negation study.

antonyms definition and examples - Where the two words have definitions that lie on a continuous spectrum of meaning

I hope this research will contribute to both the knowledge of theoretical linguistics and to the teaching of English. There are other ways of discovering the negative meanings of synonyms. Examples and show that the verb itself sometimes has the negative meaning by default. The verb "smell" can be used with both the positive adjective "nice" and the negative adjective "bad", but when it is used without any adjectives, it conveys a negative evaluation. The noun "smell" has both positive and negative evaluations. They observe that people contrast positive and negative pairs in a certain manner, and this order appears to be backed by some reason.

antonyms definition and examples - Where the meanings do not lie on a continuous spectrum and the words have no other lexical relationship

It is very important to know synonyms and antonyms of words when you are learning a language. Especially, they help us to expand our vocabulary and avoid repetition in our writing and speech. Moreover, dictionaries and thesauruses often help us to find synonyms and antonyms. Antonyms are two or more words that have opposing meanings.

antonyms definition and examples - Where the two meanings are opposite only within the context of their relationship

We will look at the different types of antonyms, where the word antonym came from, a few examples of antonyms and some examples of the word antonym used in sentences. Antonyms are words that have opposite or contrasting meanings in a specific domain . There are no publicly available comprehensive antonym lists. Antonym- a word that expresses a meaning opposed to the meaning of another word, in which case the two words are antonyms of each other. Antonyms - words of the same category of parts of speech which have contrasting meanings such as hat - cold, light - dark, happiness - sorrow.

antonyms definition and examples - Negation is an elemental factor in our language

Some differences do exist, and occasionally, these hold the key to their negative meaning. Some of these contrasts seem to convey the indirect negative meaning. These contrasts are closely related to the concept of antonyms. Next section is a case study of our "up-down" spatial cognition and negative meaning. When considering negation, references to the set theory and Venn diagrams are inevitable.

antonyms definition and examples - Classifying concepts related to negation will help us understand the ways in which it is used

The basic concept of negation could be stated as the contrast between "X and NOT X". On the other hand, opposition is a bipolar idea, and occasionally strongly fixed. For example, "in-and out", "man and woman", "dead and alive", "black and white", "long and short", "rich and poor", "heavy and light" etc., are pairs that are strongly fixed. Some of these pairs are frequently used to express the meaning of negation.

antonyms definition and examples - One of the most prominent functions of negation is its appearance as a direct negative marker

These pairs can adequately express the meaning of negation without using a direct negative marker such as "not" or "no". Synonyms are words with similar meanings, while antonyms are words with opposite meanings. Thus, this is the main difference between synonyms and antonyms. Importantly, both help us to expand our vocabulary and avoid repetition in our writing and speech. The importance of antonyms and synonyms in writing can not be overstated.

antonyms definition and examples - Simultaneously

When writing creatively or in non-fiction, you will almost certainly have to use antonyms to show an opposite relationship. Knowing these, or learning how to correctly create these, is important because it allows you to use different terms to describe something effectively. Hopefully, the above examples have made the meaning of complementary and binary pair antonyms much clearer. To remember which antonyms are complementary and binary pairs, ask yourself if both can be true – if they can't, then they are complete opposites and are complementary and binary pairs.

antonyms definition and examples - In this paper

Antonyms are an important word type to use in almost any form of writing. Many people though, don't actually understand what an antonym is. Most people would be surprised to hear that they probably use antonyms all of the time without realizing it though. This guide will take you through what an antonym is, how it is used in writing, and give you some of the reasons why learning antonyms is important in any type of writing.

antonyms definition and examples - A number of the usages are reflections of our perceptions of our world and environment

A word may have more than one antonym, just as a word may have more than one synonym. Synonyms are two or more words with the same or nearly the same meaning. There are many more synonyms than antonyms in the English language, as not all words have an opposite.

antonyms definition and examples - Antonyms and synonyms are two classical linguistic categories

The word antonym was not added to the language until the 1860s, derived from the Greek prefix anti– meaning opposite or against, and the Greek work onym which means name. The word antonym comes from Greek and means "against a name." There are three types of antonyms, and many words can have multiple antonyms, depending on the meaning of the original word. As literary devices, antonyms are one of the simplest to find and use. It is a word that means the same, or almost the same, as another word. They help us avoid repetition in our speech and writing and expand our vocabulary.

antonyms definition and examples - However

Synonyms and antonyms are used every day by teachers, students, writers, editors, poets, and songwriters to add variety to writing. General or inference clues – These types of context clues are a little more subtle. They usually require readers to look beyond the sentence they're reading for understanding, sometimes even at the entire passage, the topic of the piece or the illustrations. If other, more specific context clues are missing, looking for inference clues is your child's best bet.

antonyms definition and examples - This paper investigates the negative meaning expressed by antonyms and synonyms

If you can help your child understand what they are, and how they work, she'll have an ever-ready tool kit to use whenever she's reading and finds herself stumped by an unknown word. Context clues are hints – or "clues" – to the meaning of a word that are quite literally hidden in plain sight, right there in every reading passage you or your child has ever encountered. Context clues are hints in the passage, paragraph or individual sentence that, if considered, can tell you the meaning of a word you are not familiar with. Sometimes even the title of a piece or the illustrations that come with it offer context clues, as well. Whether you've ever heard the term before or not, you probably use context clues all the time – maybe without even realizing it. Think about the last time you came across an unfamiliar word while reading.

antonyms definition and examples - The study of antonyms or

Or just maybe, you figured out what it meant all on your own. Given that we lack sensory-motor experience for abstract concepts, how do we find out what they mean? How far can we get by tracking frequency distributions in input?

antonyms definition and examples - This book provides an extensive investigation of antonyms in English and offers an innovative model of how we mentally organize concepts and how we perceive contrasts between them

Focus is on the synonymy of constructions and lexemes, a meaning relation that has been largely ignored in Western linguistics. Frequency in all its guises plays a major part in this book. Approaching meaning from a usage-based perspective, a radically distributional approach to quantifying meaning is proposed that encompasses both the constructional and lexical level. Statistical data analysis, relatively new in the field of linguistics, yields a cognitively realistic, clustered model that encourages re-evaluating existing accounts of near-synonymy. Theoretical concepts spanning a range of cognitive linguistic frameworks, i.e. Cognitive Grammar, Radical Construction Grammar and Prototype Theory, account for the complexity of the data and lead to a re-appraisal of traditional semantic theory.

antonyms definition and examples - The authors use corpus and experimental methods to build a theoretical picture of the antonym relation

The theoretically informed combination of descriptive accuracy and methodological innovation makes the book a worthwhile read for cognitive linguists and psycholinguists alike. Converse antonyms are pairs of opposites where one cannot exist without the other. For example to have a husband, you must have a wife. Therefore, husband and wife are complementary antonyms. Note that sometimes in literary work, these antonyms can be used differently. For example, in my above sentence "You scared me half to death," there is no area between alive anddead.

antonyms definition and examples - Evidence is drawn from natural antonym use in speech and writing

However, this is a common expression and you often see gradable pairs used in this manner. On the other hand, example shows that the verb "stink" has a strong negative meaning as its default sense, which precludes it from being used with positive adjectives. The "NEAR-FAR" pair does not possess the meaning of a subjective good-bad evaluation.

antonyms definition and examples - The book also proposes ways in which a greater knowledge of how antonyms work can be applied to the fields of language technology and lexicography

It merely conveys a meaning that is based on spatial cognition and central-peripheral matter. Although the former word "NEAR" in the "NEAR-FAR" pair has a certain negative meaning , the former word "HIGH" in the other pair does not appear to have any negative connotation. The viewpoints of Cooper and Ross are interesting because they focus on the order of the words, and from the results obtained, they discover the single aspect of negation. However, they do not mention the difference between these polarity pairs and negation. In reality, in the case of polarity pairs, particularly adjective polarity pairs, the latter member of the pair is frequently used to express a negative meaning. Furthermore, there are three types of antonyms as gradable, complementary, and relational antonyms.

antonyms definition and examples - In this paper

A synonym is a word or phrase that means exactly the same as another word or phrase, in the same language. In other words, synonyms are words with similar meanings. For instance, words like delicious, yummy, succulent are synonyms of the adjective tasty.

antonyms definition and examples - I primarily focused on indirect negative sentences

Similarly, verbs like commence, initiate, and begin are synonyms of the verb start. However, it is important to remember that not all pairs of words in the English language are so easily interchangeable. The slight but important differences in meaning between synonyms can make a big difference in your writing.

my verizon business app

I switched to biz plan for a 5% savings my bill has never been larger, switched 3 biz plans to try to meet promise still way larger one made my data speeds way slower though. 5+ hours with customer service, got shut off as autopay didn't work (no phone call or any heads up ironic huh?) new iPhone7 kept not connecting to internet had to get new phone. On my 6th attempt to set up autopay, Manager didn't even understand that there is a paper based way to set up auto pay on the back side of the bill?!?!?

my verizon business app - I switched to biz plan for a 5 savings my bill has never been larger

Just got a bill and they gave me my $100 inconvenience credit but still don't show any payment. Customer service only available 8-5 so if you ever do business outside those hours too bad for you! I have never ever been so appalled by a large company's gross ineptitude. Paying a Verizon bill is worse than getting a tooth pulled.

my verizon business app - 5 hours with customer service

You can call in and wait 45 minutes only to be told to use the app. I have a business account so I made a payment from one of my lines only to realize it only showed me the amount due for that specific device. They will not help you set up automatic a payment over the phone and it's impossible on the app. Furthermore the app is glitchy on entering credit card date codes from an apple device. Also they ask you for your CBC code multiple times. It's likely all a ploy to frustrate people to have late payments.

my verizon business app - On my 6th attempt to set up autopay

Feds definitely need to look into their bill payment practices. I've called and talked to Verizon a half dozen times since switching to the business account. Also one of my 4 digit pins is off and they can't figure it out at the Verizon store "they've never seen it before". Last 3 years went bad early in the beginning of the 3 year period and has continued to get worse. Verizon denies coverage issues, but agreed to send tech out to check signal. Tech did their check without letting me know they were at my home and Verizon didn't voluntarily share results.

my verizon business app - Just got a bill and they gave me my 100 inconvenience credit but still dont show any payment

Was told that I would need a device to boost signal and after no improvement for 60 days, I called to let them know it didn't help and I wanted to return the item. Didn't learn my lesson and bought business line system that sales rep flat out lied about the capabilities. Supervisor assigned new rep to try to shore up service that deceitful rep sold. New rep has been trying everything and has been the best part of dealing with Verizon.

my verizon business app - Customer service only available 8-5 so if you ever do business outside those hours too bad for you

Like the cell lines, Verizon kept telling me that I needed this item, then that one and something else here to get the service working right. Once again, Verizon tells me it's past the return window. Billed for 3 months of non functioning service that still hasn't been fixed.

my verizon business app - I have never ever been so appalled by a large companys gross ineptitude

They charge for a product they don't provide, they sell add on items to fix their issues that don't fix the issue and stiff their customers with the bill. Save your time and money and look for a provider who's interest is earning their money and customers loyalty and not making money without providing the item that money is supposed to be in exchange for. The Essential plan is Verizon's lowest priced plan, with prices starting at $30.00 per month for a tablet and $35.00 for a smartphone with device payment. Verizon's Flexible Business Plan was created for businesses that require a customizable option. Using one shared data pool, users are able to add as many lines as they need for their business and customize their data allowance for each line.

my verizon business app - Paying a Verizon bill is worse than getting a tooth pulled

In addition, customers can use mobile hotspots bundled with their tariff, and have access to unlimited domestic voice and text messaging, and international messaging services. Our suite of easy-to-use fleet management solutions and mobile apps is designed to give you control of your entire fleet operations in near real time right from an iPhone or Android device. Mobile workers can easily communicate with the office and access the job data they need to help simplify compliance and be productive. Fleet managers have the management tools to automate workflows and improve customer satisfaction. My Verizon is a mobile app that helps you manage your account. This includes securing your mobile number, paying your bills, track your data usage, buy a new phone, get temporary international travel plans, and talk to customer care whenever needed.

my verizon business app - You can call in and wait 45 minutes only to be told to use the app

With this mobile app, users can easily manage their service from virtually anywhere using features like call forwarding, order status tracking, automated receptionist, and more. The business app is available for both Android and iOS devices. With the widest 4G network coverage in the United States, Verizon is one of the largest and most popular network carriers available. The top-performing carrier offers a vast range of business cell phone plans and services to suit businesses of all sizes.

my verizon business app - I have a business account so I made a payment from one of my lines only to realize it only showed me the amount due for that specific device

The Verizon Wireless Private Network extends your network to your employees' mobile devices and to your cloud, while maintaining security and device management control. This also helps keep information protected, enable media-rich business apps, and maintain predictable application performance. Verizon is a major internet and telephone communications provider in the United States. One of Verizon's popular solutions is their array of small business cell phone plans that give businesses a reliable and affordable way to communicate. I'm not sure how a company like Verizon could put out such a horrible app. After seeing many more negative reviews about it, I'm very perplexed as to why changes haven't been made for months.

my verizon business app - They will not help you set up automatic a payment over the phone and its impossible on the app

I use this app mainly to pay my bill and check my statements. I've tried multiple times to set up touch/face ID and each time it says it's set up. Then I go to log in the next time and can only log in with my password. I've also tried paying my bill the past two months and it says I have a negative balance and it won't give me the option to pay because of it. Then when it's past due because of this fact, it lets me know I'm past due but I still cannot pay because it shows a negative balance. I've never had to work so hard or check an app so many times to get a company to take the money that I owe them.

my verizon business app - Furthermore the app is glitchy on entering credit card date codes from an apple device

I just spent TWO HOURS trying to set up automatic payment after my bookkeeper struggled with doing it for a while. Because I have a business account it would t allow me to do anything on the app until I spoke to someone. I spent 30 min on the phone and I was told it was finally set up, she removed the $5 late fee and told me I was good to go.

my verizon business app - Also they ask you for your CBC code multiple times

When I tried to make a call ( it's a work day) it wouldn't go through - so then I spent ANOTHER 90 min trying to fix it. No one could see that I had set up automatic payment and paid the bill. So finally I said , go ahead and process another payment, since I need to get to work. She said there would be a $7 charge for her to process it - I told her I'd already paid it w another agent and refused to pay $7 because of the principle. Then she said she couldn't do that bc she was getting an error. BFS grew to be a substantial business in its own right (and it had raised its own money to that end, to the tune of $184 million from Edison and Honeywell).

my verizon business app - Its likely all a ploy to frustrate people to have late payments

In most cases, you can just deactivate your cell phone service on the device and trade it in with the SIM card intact. But that SIM card is the repository of your phone number, various bits of security data, and all the info needed for billing. It identifies you, your phone, and a lot of your activity on your phone.

my verizon business app - Feds definitely need to look into their bill payment practices

So you might want to remove it before you sell your phone. Locate the SIM ejector on your phone, then insert a paperclip until the tray pops out. Remove the SIM card, replace the tray, and you're set to ship your phone off. Created by Verizon, Fios is a business internet service that offers high speeds, 24-hour tech support, and access to the Verizon Cloud for file storage. Fios comes in multiple plans, with prices ranging between $79.99 and $214.99 per month. While Fios is a reliable option for business internet, the network coverage is limited.

my verizon business app - Ive called and talked to Verizon a half dozen times since switching to the business account

The Plus plan is the perfect fit for businesses that are interested in Verizon's business solutions. The Plus plan includes the same features as the Essential plan, with an additional 15% off select Business Solution Store products and One Talk add on to Smartphone. This plan starts at $50.00 per month for one smartphone and $75.00 per month for a smartphone with a 2-year contract. However, the Essential does include premium unlimited 4G LTE data which may be slower during peak times. Verizon offers strong network coverage, 5G access, and adaptable plans that can meet the communication needs of businesses, individuals, and families. The carrier is a great choice for remote teams or individuals that travel a lot.

my verizon business app - Also one of my 4 digit pins is off and they cant figure it out at the Verizon store theyve never seen it before

Verizon's international plans provide unlimited data and texting in over 210 international countries. This is an app that is a dinosaur compared to any other business app out there. The sad thing is this still much better than the mobile version of their website- which I don't even thing they've bothered to optimize for mobile viewing. You think you saved the ridiculous password they make you create (oh and don't even try to use a password from the last 5 years!!)- nope and Face ID works 1/2 the time. For a company specializing in digital items and communications they clearly care very little about the business users' experiences. A year or so ago I changed my account to a business account.

my verizon business app - Last 3 years went bad early in the beginning of the 3 year period and has continued to get worse

The alerts to pay or any other alert goes to one of my employees. I have called Verizon and filled out all the paperwork to change the phone number where the alert or messages should be going and it still is wrong. I have spent hours on the phone and they still can't get it correct. I'm tired of having to spend hours on the phone to try to correct something they screwed up to begin with. I bought this plan to save some money for my business, then I spent several hours on the phone with them asking them to give me what I was sold.

my verizon business app - Verizon denies coverage issues

I was sold unlimited data for 4 phones, 1 tablet and a hum. I can't even remember what the original deal was because it's gone through so many changes. I've been a Verizon customer for many years and, other than a bum deal with the home fusion LTE, never had a single complaint until I signed up for the Verizon Business. I have spent endless hours online and on the phone with customer "service" just to get answers to what should be simple solutions.

my verizon business app - Tech did their check without letting me know they were at my home and Verizon didnt voluntarily share results

If your company is going to grossly overcharge my business account, at least have the decency to provide service and quick solutions. With this latest update we now offer a touchless enrollment process for businesses interested in starting a Verizon Wireless business account. No more waiting on hold or standing in lines at the store. Download the app to get your business on the most reliable network now. This started before the Coronavirus became a national emergency. We have 5 offices, and Verizon fails to understand that a few hours is too long for a business to go without phones, let alone 1 week.

my verizon business app - Was told that I would need a device to boost signal and after no improvement for 60 days

As soon as i can i am cancelling all my verizon OneTalk phones in all five offices. It has been nothing but problems since we started 2 years ago. If you want to miss calls and not get help when you have problems, by all means, sign up for OneTalk. We know that no matter the size of your business, every dollar counts. Which is why the One Talk mobile app is the perfect solution.

my verizon business app - Didnt learn my lesson and bought business line system that sales rep flat out lied about the capabilities

With no contract, you can feel confident it's a good fit for your organization. Using your existing equipment and devices, you can easily assign and unassign phone numbers as needed—even to employees' personal devices. And after you start seeing the benefits of the One Talk mobile app, you can always add other One Talk devices and solutions as your business grows. Verizon provides service to businesses large and small, including 96 percent of the Fortune 1000, as of 2012. But, if Verizon is no longer the right choice for your company, then you may want to cancel your phone service.

my verizon business app - Supervisor assigned new rep to try to shore up service that deceitful rep sold

Whether you have a landline, mobile phone, or Internet service, you can terminate your contract with Verizon early and cancel your phone service, although you may have to pay an early termination fee. Despite the feature-packed nature of Nextiva, its most expensive plan will only run you $30/month for each user — definitely a bargain. Speaking of bargains, check out our post on business phone plans if you want to get the most bang for your buck.

my verizon business app - New rep has been trying everything and has been the best part of dealing with Verizon

Easily sign up, and keep your number and phone, or change both. You might even be able to activate service in less than 15 minutes through eSIM. No matter what, you'll get unlimited data, messages, and minutes for one low price.

my verizon business app - Like the cell lines

Earlier this month, Verizon Wireless announced some changes to its data plans. The new plans offer at least 30% more data as well as new features, including carryover data, safety mode, and international calling and roaming for Canada and Mexico. Additionally, the new My Verizon app lets you manageƂ these plans and your account. Verizon Connect is a web-based field service management software that can easily organize schedules, monitor worksites, employees, and equipment, and store company and customer information. The software was created to automate workflow in small to medium-sized businesses. Push to Talk Plus offers instant communication on Verizon's 4G LTE network or over Wi-Fi to help communicate more efficiently, securely, and with more people.

my verizon business app - Once again

This solution allows you to see the availability of each contact in real time, and send text or voice messages, photos, videos, files and share location. One Talk is a mobile-first phone solution that connects employees' office phones and mobile devices with one number. With this solution, customers or co-workers can reach you at your desk or on the go. Also offers conference calls for up to six people and calls are automatically redirected to another employee if there is no answer. Verizon also offers individual unlimited plans that are available for businesses, personal use, and family entertainment. All unlimited plans include 5G network access for an extra $10.00 /mo.

my verizon business app - Billed for 3 months of non functioning service that still hasnt been fixed

In addition, if you use the AutoPay feature and paperless billing, you get a $10.00 discount on all plans. Businesses can take out up to 5 lines, thereafter you will have to contact Verizon for a quote. By selecting the right business app for your company, you can gain real-time access to accurate tools, features and information you need to keep your team productive and your data protected, like Samsung Knox. The advertising is way to big and makes the app cumbersome. I am already a customer and don't need advertisements to help me. I was with another carrier for years, their web and app were easy to navigate and find information regarding my bill.

my verizon business app - They charge for a product they dont provide

I prefer to use my computer and the website as the phone is sometimes a little small to read. Better internet features would make me really happy I switched to Verizon. I cancelled autopay and paid manually as bill is due tomorrow. If I wasn't paying attention I would have been late. The apps simplistic design leaves much to be desired in layout, color and aesthetics as well. Fix autopay and have it tell me the next scheduled pay date - this is basic stuff.

my verizon business app - Save your time and money and look for a provider whos interest is earning their money and customers loyalty and not making money without providing the item that money is supposed to be in exchange for

Each individual you get to speak with says they can handle the problem and fix it and each time I get back on the phone with them it has not been fixed. I've been on the phone with them 15 times to resolve an issue that have been ongoing for several years. If you're interested in using customer service find a different company.

my verizon business app - The Essential plan is Verizon

The only reason I'm still with this company is because back when I first became a member the rates were reasonable and now that they're astronomical my rates are still locked in. Long story short if you can find a different provider you should. The My Fios App for phone, internet and TV gives you easy access to manage your Verizon account and services with useful interactive features. With the My Business App for wireless, information and control is at your fingertips. Make changes easily to your plans, activate new devices or features, manage One Talk, and gather critical data metrics through the app to help improve your operations.
